Today Trade Street Residential provides a full service real estate platform for its investors and lenders, specializing in the acquisition, renovation, repositioning, development and asset management of apartment communities in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Since 2005, Trade Street has closed on over $500 million worth of multifamily residential communities and development projects. Many of these transactions have been "off-market" transactions which have been sourced through the Principal's significant relationships, which have enabled Trade Street to create value for its investors.

Investment Strategy:

Trade Street's investment focus is in markets with strong job and population growth characteristics, markets with high barriers to entry, or markets exhibiting other unique demographic characteristics, for instance, towns with significant academic or government presence. The firms target markets will include areas within the following states: District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and Texas. In the above markets, Trade Street's objective is to acquire both high quality multifamily assets which provide stability and income growth, and also fundamentally sound, well located underperforming assets, whose value can be enhanced through the investment of additional funds, by utilizing our in house property management group which will help do more aggressive marketing, lowering operating costs, and create of additional sources of revenue, thereby increasing the cash flow and overall value of the investment.
